Hotel Policies

Cancellation Policy:  If you did not book your reservation directly through the hotel, please reference the cancellation policy on your confirmation email.

.The cancellation policy for direct bookings is 48 hours prior to arrival with no penalties. Within 48 hours of arrival, guest will forfeit the first night stay deposit. Resort Fee: All reservations will automatically have a $15 resort fee.

No-Show Policy: Advance deposits for reservations are fully forfeited if a guest does not arrive on the scheduled arrival date.

Local Resident Policy: Sun N Sand Resort does not permit reservations or occupancy by residents within a 50-mile radius of the resort (Horry, Georgetown, Marion, or Williamsburg Counties). Reservations made circumventing this policy will not be honored.

Deposit Policy: Sun N Sand Resort requires the first night stay including taxes and fees to reserve your reservation. If deposit is not paid within 24 hours of booking, your reservation will be automatically canceled.

Security Deposit Policy: Sun N Sand Resort requires a $50 per reservation due at check in. Hold will be released after check out. Please allow 7-10 days for processing.

Non-Smoking Resort: All Sun N Sand Resort accommodations are non-smoking. There will be a $200 cleaning fee for guests that violate this policy.

Booking Age: Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid ID to reserve a room. Reservations made circumventing this policy will not be honored.

Balance Payment: Payment for any outstanding balance is required at check-in.

Pets: Sun N Sand Resort will gladly accept service animals with proper identification (tag, vest or collar). All service animals must remain with owner at all times. No other pets will be accepted. Additional cleaning fees may apply.

Post Departure Charges: Sun N Sand Resort may charge any credit card on file after your departure for any additional, delayed, or amended charges that arise during your stay. An amended statement will be available upon request.
